Waco The Aftermath Season 2 Story

The first season of Waco: The Aftermath is based on real events. The main plot of this mini-series revolves around David Koresh, the leader of the religious cult Branch Davidians, and his followers, and how he reached his position. They were accused of hiding illegal war weapons and of sexually abusing minors within their church congregation. The ATF issued a warrant to check the legitimacy of these claims, but they did not know that someone had already tipped the extremists off. Massive gunfire ensued, resulting in a lot of deaths.

After the failure of the ATF, the FBI took over and put an end to it over 51 days. The end of this siege saw the deaths of FBI agents and Branch Davidians, including little children. Waco The Aftermath focuses on what happened after the siege. It shows the trials of the remaining Branch Davidians, the raid at the United States Capitol that occurred in January, and the war over Mount Carmel.
