The Resort Season 2 Story

The Resort revolves around a young couple named Emma and Noah who visit the Riviera Mayan in Mexico on the occasion of their 10th marriage anniversary. Both of them are teachers, and even though Noah is happy with his wife, Emma feels uncertainty and is not content with her marriage.

They took the trip to Mexico to rejuvenate their dying relationship after it fell apart following their daughter’s untimely death. However, their fun vacation takes a turn when Emma comes across an old Motorola Razr phone that belonged to a tourist named Sam who had disappeared with another guest, Violet, 15 years ago. Emma takes it upon herself to solve the unsolved mystery, and with some unpredictable and sometimes shocking twists and turns and revelations, she reaches the finale.

The show introduces the concept of Pasaje, a place where you can relive your memories. If you have lost a loved one, you can go back in time to those memories and see them again. However, there is a great chance of you getting lost without someone anchoring you to the present. Sam and Violet had gotten lost in the Pasaje, and the ending reunites all the lost characters and the present ones.

Episode 8 ends with Baltasar expressing his interest in Luna to check out the interesting Pasaje, but she refuses. Baltasar leaves to go somewhere while Luna smiles, seeing the piece of paper he left with her. Season 2 might focus on Baltasar and his intentions with the Pasaje, the mystery behind the paper, and more revelations about the bending of time to re-enter lost memories.
