Gotham Knights is a superhero web series based on the characters of the DC Universe. This show focuses on Batman’s family and facts related to his demise. Gotham Knights season 1 premiered on 14th March 2023. Gotham Knights Season 2 Story
The first season of Gotham Knights introduces Turner Hayes who is the adopted son of Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne is the real identity of the famous character, Batman, one of the leads of the DC Universe. However, the original comics do not mention Batman’s adopted son. He is a fresh character created for Gotham Knights.
The series is set after the death of Batman in Gotham City. The show opens with Turner being falsely accused of killing his adoptive father. He decides to run along with the children of some of Batman’s rivals. These children included Duela Doe, a skilled thief, and the Joker’s daughter, and two siblings Harper Row and Cullen Row. Harper is an engineer while Cullen is just a teenager.
They’re forced to navigate through numerous dangers and very soon realize that things are much bigger than they could have imagined. Relying on allies such as Stephanie Brown, Turner’s best friend, and Carrie Kelley who used to work for Batman, the group tries to evade the Gotham City Police Department and Harvey Dent, the district attorney.
Gotham Knights Season 2 might focus more on the present characters, their evolving relationships, and their past lives. It can show more of The Court of Owls or introduce a new antagonist.
