Cecily Strong is an American comedian, singer, actor, producer, and writer. She is famous for being the longest female cast member on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, or SNL, which went on for almost a decade. Her prominent roles include Melissa Gimble in Schmigadoon! (2021–present), the voice of Megan Matheson in The Simpsons (2018), Jennifer Lynch in Ghostbusters (2016), and Jillian in The Meddler (2015). She has also been nominated for several awards and is currently busy with the upcoming Garfield movie in 2024.

Cecily Strong Personal Life
Cecily Strong was born Cecily Legler Strong on 8th February 1984 in Springfield in Illinois, USA. She was born to William Bill Strong, who was an AP bureau chief and owns his PR firm, according to a 2013 report, and Penny Legler Strong, a nurse. She grew up in Oak Park, Chicago, and attended Broadway shows with her uncle, who is a producer of the same. Her interest in SNL has remained the same since her early life.
Strong was expelled from her first school, Oak Park and River Forests High School, on account of carrying marijuana, an illegal substance. After that, she went to a private Catholic school and completed her graduation from the Chicago Academy for the Arts in 2002. California Institute of the Arts was her next institution, where she graduated with a BFA in theater in 2006. Her love for acting made her attend iO Chicago and the Second City Conservatory as well. This was her stepping stone toward fame and success.
Strong has also published her memoir titled ‘This Will All Be Over Soon: A Memoir’ in which she speaks about her romantic relationships. She met her current boyfriend, Jack, at a 2019 Christmas party, and they spent the night together, despite her being drunk and having social anxiety. The couple made their relationship public on International Women’s Day 2020 and is reportedly still going strong. Before dating Jack, she was romantically involved with Mike O’Brien, her SNL co-star from 2014 to 2015, and an unknown Italian man in 2016. Both relationships failed, and the partners parted ways. Strong has also spoken about her cousin Owen, who died of brain cancer during the pandemic.
