The story of Kyouki No Kanata revolves around Mirai Kuriyama, the last living member of a clan. The Spirit World Warriors Clan has seen many great members but Mirai seems to be the last and final living member of this. She has this unique power to use her own blood as a weapon in hard times and battles. She has the responsibility to kill creatures called Youmu.
These creatures are filled with dark energies that are negative human emotions as well.
While sitting on her school roof one day, she meets a guy named Akhito. Akihito is a rare half-Youmu- half-human. As the story proceeds, she tries to kill the Youmu but instead meets a few other Warriors also! This later turns into a battle between the Spirit Warriors and the Youmu.
The characters might include the ones that already exist with just a few additions. Akihito, Mirai, Hiroomi and many others will surely return if there is another season.
