Black Bullet
The show is an old one that came out in 2012. Being set in a post-apocalyptic world, it chooses the year 2021. Well, the makers were really accurate and also predicted everything probably. Since humanity is attacked by a pandemic, Gastrea parasites have woken a lot of monsters in their path.
To save themselves, humans are hiding in an area with Monolith Walls. Being made of Varanium, the walls protect humans and also harm the Gatrea at the same time. So their own way to rescue themselves is to be behind these walls. Humanity finally uses the Cursed children. Cursed Children are female children with super abilities that have developed due to the virus in their bodies. These children are put together with promoters. Being initiators, the duo of Initiators and Promoters is very strong and tries to destroy the monsters as well.
The show shows a lot of such pairs but sets its eye on one. Enju Aihara as the Initiator and Rentaro as the Promoter. Their pair and all the missions they are on, all their work towards destroying these monsters is depicted on the show and it is really interesting to watch.
Unless there is any announcement, the show stands cancelled since it has been gone for over nine years.
