WBCHSE Class 12 Science Syllabus & Marks Distribution!

Every state has its own educational board and the schools associated with it follow the respective syllabus. The education ministry of the West Bengal government is responsible for the conduction of examinations of higher class students of different streams. WBCHSE (West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education) was formed to enhance the education system and literacy in West Bengal. This government body is responsible for class 12th final exams, especially. 2023 has nearly 8 lakh students registered under the WBCHSE for the 12th final examination for every stream including Arts, Commerce, and Science.

Before preparing for the exams, it is highly recommended to go through the syllabus for a better and sound knowledge of the important topics that need revision. Also, ignoring the syllabus would not do anything good and instead, you will regret it later.

WBCHSE Class 12 Exam will be commencing on 14 March 2023 and will end on 27 March 2023. The timetable was officially announced on 10th June 2022 and the result is expected to be out in June 2023. The date is not confirmed but we also don’t expect a delay from West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education.

WBCHSE Class 12 Science Exam Pattern

The subjects with the practical examination will have theory examinations separately. Chemistry, Physics, and Biology will have practicals of 30 marks each while the theory paper will be conducted with 70 marks, respectively. The total marks for each subject are 100 Marks. The Maths paper is of 80 marks and the rest belongs to the project while the English question paper is of 100 Marks.
