West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education was established during the 1970s by the West Bengal government. This council was formed under an act of 1975. Shortly being stated as WBCHSE, it has its headquarters in Kolkata. It is situated at Vidyasagar Bhavan, Salt Lake, Kolkata, and is responsible for the conduction of the examination. The West Bengal Board has officially released the syllabus for class 11th and 12th students for the academic year 2022-23.
