- The candidate must be a Citizen of India and the age should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 27 years on the 1st day of January of the year of advertisement.
- The Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates and 03 years for the candidates of Other Backward Classes.
- Following government orders, the upper age limit may be relaxed for ex-servicemen and home guards candidates.
