Cat In The Chrysalis Plot
The story is about a married woman, Kit Gerald, who sees a man in the library and falls in love with him at first sight. Her husband, Lonnie Blanche loves her sister, Rosaline Gerals and they both share love letters. Kit knows all about this and feels betrayed.
Kit falls in love with that man she saw in the library and religiously for six months goes to the library so that she can see that man but one day he is not there. Kit came to know that he was the King’s son Edwin Arthur Windsor and he died due to the overturning of the carriage that was going to the palace.
Kit was devasted and heartbroken as the first man she loved died without knowing her feelings towards him. She just wishes to go back and confess her feelings and maybe save him from his upcoming doom. When she woke up the next morning she realized that she was back in her palace which was a gift to her for her sixteenth birthday.
Kit was treated unfairly by her father who always preferred Rosaline over her, no matter how much she tried or how much she achieved things in her life her father would see her as his wife’s murderer. She was the outcast and everyone chose her sister over her even Lonnie.
Kit realized she was in her past self when she was 18 years old and when she was arranged to marriage Lonnie but this time she will not marry her husband again instead she will find her first love and will make sure that he will know that she loves him.
