Adipurush Story Recap
The movie Adipurush is another retelling of the greatest mythological story of Ramayana. The book being written by Valmiki, is shown in the movie from the perspective of the directors. The movie is directed by Om Raut and was released on 16 June 2023. It was one of the biggest budget movies this year and it consisted of around 500 crores plus.
The movie tells the story of Lord Rama and his wife during their vanavas. They are accompanied by Rama’s brother Lakshmana as well. One day when Rama is away, there seems to be a trap set by Raavan. This is caused due to his sister Shoorpanaki and he moves forward with his plan.
When there seems to be an issue with Rama, Lakshmana goes to check on him and asks Sita to stay inside the boundaries. But after he leaves, there’s an entry of a Rishi who is asking for a little food. Sita comes forward to give him a little food and then he kidnaps her. Thus continues the tale where Lakshamana and Rama go in search of Sita.
Thus he brings together an army to go against Ravan and bring back his wife home. The same story is depicted in the movie from a different perspective.
