For the position of Primary Teacher (PRT):

• Candidates should have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed). (OR)
• Candidates should have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). (OR)
• Candidates should have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and have passed or be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). (OR)
• Candidates should have completed Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.

For the position of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT):

• The applicant must hold one of the following credentials in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited university or institution: D.EI.Ed, B.Ed, B.P.Ed, or D.P.Ed. (OR)
• completion of a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) program in one year with a minimum grade point average of 50%. (OR)
• a Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) degree after completing senior secondary school (or its equivalent) with at least a 50% grade point average. (OR)
• at least 50% in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and a 4-year B.Sc.Ed.
