Shalini Unnikrishnan's real name is Nimisha Sambat, and she is from Attingal, Kerala. Shalini (as the film has represented) was incarcerated in a jail in Afghanistan after her husband was killed. She is in jail

GEETANJALI

On her way there, Shalini is first taken to Sri Lanka, where she learns that Geetanjali has commit suicide and Nimah was gang-raped for not converting to Islam from Christianity.

Neemah Matthews

he real-life Nimah has been residing in Kerala. Nothing much is known about her location, but all we can say is, she is safe in Kerala with her parents.

Abdul Rashid Abdulla

Abdul Rashid Abdulla is either dead, arrested–though there should have been some kind of confirmation if that had happened–or still serving his mentors in ISIS.

Bestin Vincent Aka Yahya

It is confirmed that none of them have returned to Kerala and presumably Merrin is in jail. Yahya, however, is assumed to be still in Afghanistan and an ISIS preacher.

Bexin Vincent Aka Eesa

Eesa was killed brutally in the flight, leaving Nimisha and her daughter to spend the remaining of their lives in Afghanistan prison.
