Since Lord Rama is thought to be Lord Vishnu's seventh avatar, the legendary tale of "Adipurush" is the tale of him.

The story of “ADIPURUSH" is primarily recounted in the Hindu epic “RAMAYANA" The epic tells the tale of how Lord Rama’s wife, Sita, was abducted by the demon king Ravana, who took her to his kingdom of Lanka.

The film is based on the epic "Ramayana" starring Prabhas and Kriti  Sanon as Ram and Seeta. while Saif Ali Khan plays Ravan and Sunny Singh plays Lakshman. Marathi actor Devdatta Nage plays Hanuman.

Adipurush, which reportedly cost Rs 500 crore, is the second-most costly Bollywood film after RRR.
