MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 7 BEEN A BOX-OFFICE HIT OR A BOX-OFFICE FLOP?

With the release of Top Gun: Maverick last summer, which raked in an astounding $1.5 billion worldwide, Tom Cruise saved the movie industry.

So there was a great deal of anticipation for his comeback as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One.

But those hopes were dashed when Mission: Impossible 7 made its US debut, falling short of expectations despite being a series high.

Has Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One performed well at the box office after two weeks of release?

The new Mission: Impossible film has made $370.9 million worldwide as of now.

After earning $118.8 million in the US and $252.1 million elsewhere after its second weekend of release.

The box office performance of Mission: Impossible films has also typically performed better abroad than in the US.

Though the new film isn't far behind Fallout, Mission: Impossible movies typically have strong box office runs, so it's too early to panic.T

It's probable that the new film can maintain its box office success once the Barbenheimer buzz fades.

How successful Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One is gonna be determined in the upcoming weeks.
