WBPSC A.E Exam Overview

On December 3, 2022, the WBPSC Assistant Engineer Official Notification was released. The selected candidates will be assigned to one of four departments namely public works, irrigation, public health engineering, and rural development. Before submitting their applications, interested candidates must note that Bengali language proficiency is required. The chosen candidates will receive salaries ranging from Rs. 56100 to Rs. 1,44300.

WBPSC AE Eligibility: Educational Qualifications

  • A B.E. or B.Tech. engineering degree from a recognized university with a relevant percentage.
  • Candidates must also be able to read, write, and speak Bengali (not required for those whose mother tongue is Nepali).
  • Candidates for the PHE (Public Health Engineering) and PRD (Panchayats and Rural Development) departments should have one year of postgraduate practical training, study, research, or practical engineering experience.
