WBBSE Preparation 2023: Guide Strategy & Tips

WBBSE stands for West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The official website has released the notification regarding the final exam of class 10. The students enrolled in the schools either private or government-affiliated to the West Bengal education board will have their examinations in February 2023. On 3rd June 2022, WBBSE released the official timetable for class 10th students who will be appearing for the 2023 final examination. The exam routine also has information regarding important instructions and timings.

The exam will commence on 23rd February 2023 and will end on 4th March 2023. The time for the exam is 11.45 AM to 3.00 PM, respectively of which the first 15 minutes is allotted for reading and going through the question paper.

Since the examination date is announced by the board officially, students have already started preparing for the exams. But, as you all know that scoring well is not an easy task. It requires several strategies and effective tips that can help the students to obtain good marks that can prove to pave a successful path in their career.

  • Abiding By The Syllabus

Students appearing for WBBSE must go through the syllabus. He should prepare according to the topics mentioned in the syllabus. This will let him know how much time to allot to a particular chapter so that the crucial part of the unit doesn’t get neglected. It also delivers information about the marks’ weightage so that students can prepare at their convenience.

  • Revision

Many a time, it happens that we ignore revising our concept, and then we face problems in the main examination. So, it is crucial for them to revise the topics at least twice. Be it any formula, diagram, or short note, revision should not be neglected. Apart from it, to memorize any chapter or study note, we must try writing them five times. Lessons should be practiced for a good grasp of the concepts.

  • Previous Year Question Paper

Exam pattern rarely changes every year. When one sits down to analyze an exam question paper, it provides a better understanding of the type of questions that can be asked. Before appearing for the exam, it is essential for them to know how to answer the questions when asked. Having a sense of the question pattern will help the students to a great extent. The marking scheme must also be taken into account.

  • Referring Books

Reference books are of great help. They not only include detailed information on every topic but also has model papers. These books are acquainted with almost all types of question papers and mock answers. Students can easily get an idea of the entire question paper and the answers that they need to write.

  • Stick To Daily Routine

The daily routine is another aspect that needs to be followed strictly by the students, especially during the examination. The student should divide their daily work according to particular timing. One should ensure proper study time, eating habits, and appro[riate play or entertainment time.

  • Don’t Concentrate On Distraction

Try to not distract yourself while preparing for the examination. One should not waste time on social media and concentrate on studies. Use the internet wherever needed but not for leisure.
