The story of the anime, Undead Girl Murder Farce has been set in the year 1897 and explores the genres of fantasy, drama, and supernatural. This is a supernatural world where vampires and oni co-exist with humans.

 The plot revolves around the half-oni who has been formed from an experiment, he is an oni slayer and is called Tsugaru Shinuchi. He is offered a job by a woman who is immortal, she is called Aya Rindo.

Aya is found always with her servant, Shizuku Hasei. Shinuchi wants to live forever and Aya wants to die, [Aya also has a talking head attached to her] Both have opposite wishes, and the cause of why they are wishing for such a thing is none other than a wealthy foreigner.

They don’t who this wealthy foreigner is but can identify him or her by his cane which has a print of the capital letter ‘M’.  Aya and Shinuchi both left for Europe to find him.

Aya’s body went missing and now Tsugaru with her head took on the identity of ‘The Cage User’ to find her missing body.
