The Longest Night Season 2 Plot:
The show starts with the arrest of a serial killer, The Alligator. His real name is Simon Lago. Simon is not sent to a full-time prison but to a half-prison, the half-medical institute called Baruca Hill Psychiatric Correctional Facility.
The prison director, Hugo Roca, discovers his eldest daughter, Laura, has been taken away. A group of armed men gets into the facility to kill Simon. Hugo decides to save Simon and protect him.
At the end of the previous season, Hugo tries his best to save Baruca with the help of Rosa and Andres. Laura avoids getting shot, but the stress triggers her heart problems.
We witnessed the confrontation between Lennon and Hugo. They get into a huge fight, which stops when Hugo announces that he has called the police. Their conflict makes them realize that someone is helping Simon and manipulating them.
In the end, we see a picture of Rosa’s house where we can see Hugo, Rosa, her husband, and a stranger. The stranger is the mastermind behind everything. In season 2, they will reveal the identity of the stranger. Hope Laura survives in season 2.
