The plot of the series is mysterious and edgy, it revolves around a young woman called Priya Das who is a financial analyst.
She used to live in London but now she return to India to identify the dead body of her father. She went to Odisha, her hometown, and to her surprise, the dead body is not her father’s corpse.
She started investigating her father and while she is at it she also discovers that her whole tribe is missing. She uncovers a link between her father and the tribe with a mountain that was mined once.
She dealt with many problems like illegal mining, environmental degradation, and corrupt officers.

The first season of the series ended with a cliffhanger which will help in the development of the plot of the second season.
We saw that Priya getting an unusual message from an unknown number complimenting her and then disappearing. The people were believing that something mystical was happening in the Jengaburu but it all cleared up in the end.
The truth was that Jengaburu was in the clutches of the corrupt businessman, Rao who was extracting uranium from the hills of Jengaburu illegally. He was doing international business by hiding it from the government.
He was able to do this dirty work by wiping the existence of Jengaburu hills with the help of the other two corrupt officers.
In the end, Priya with the help of the tribe and Dhruv expose this in front of the government. The mine was taken under control when the military went raid the area.
Mysteriously Rao and the others were killed so that no evidence of mines can leak out, thankfully, Priya has the evidence.
The tribal people got the new land to start their life again since the land on which they used to live on was affected by the radiation from the uranium.
