Actually, there is a reason behind the production of this show. In 2014, Netflix’s vice president Erik Barmack asked Motwane to create something Indian for their OTT platform. Then the idea of sacred games come into Vikramaditya Motwane’s head. The show was directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap under the production banner phantom films.
The very first season of the show was released back on 6th July 2018 and then on 15th August 2019 on the occasion of Indian Independence Day, the makers come back with the second season of this show. Sacred Games Story
Like any other crime show, Sacred Games also has a similar storyline, which has a police officer and an underworld gangster. Nawazuddin in the role of Ganesh Gaitonde and Saif Ali Khan as Inspector Sartaj Singh get success in winning the hearts of their fans. This gangster and inspector “Jodi” received a lot of love from their fans.
The story revolves around the cat-and-mouse race of Gaitonde and Sartaj Singh. Ganesh Gaitinde calls Sartaj Singh one day, and he says Sartaj to save his city within 25 days. Because Gaitonde has begun a chain of attacks which majorly connected to the underworld. So, it will be great to see Nawazuddin and Saif Ali Khan in the role of gangster and inspector, and trust me guys, their performances in both seasons are just beyond our expectations.
In season 2, the story of Gaitinde continues and Sartaj is in the search of all the answers. Many new faces in this season will come and give their remarkable performances.
