Purinsesu Purinshiparu, famously known as Princess Principal, is a Japanese animated web show. It was directed by Masaki Tachibana, written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, and produced by 3Hz and Actas along with Ryoya Arisawa, Kazuyoshi Nishikawa, and Takumi Ito among others. The anime series released its first episode on 9th July 2017 and ended on 24 September 2017 with twelve episodes.
They were originally broadcast on local Japanese television networks channels like Tokyo MX, SUN, and BS11 among others. It later became available on Amazon Prime Video as well. The anime was also inspired by The Prince and the Pauper, and the original character design was done by Kouhaku Kuroboshi and Yukie Akiya. A subsequent manga and a video game were launched afterward.
Princess Principal Part 3 is among the six-part film series which is a sequel of the original animated show. Also known as Princess Principal: Crown Handler or Purinsesu Purinshiparu: Kuraun Handora, this film series has been directed by Masaki Tachibana and produced by Actas along with Toshikazu Sugimoto, Yoshinori Hasegawa, and Yoko Baba among others.
Princess Principal Part 3 has been produced by Kōsuke Satō, Hirohito Sakemi, and Jin Tsuchihashi. Princess Principal Part 3 Plot
The movies follow members of the Team White Pigeon as they investigate Bishop and navigate through the various politics of the Kingdom and the Commonwealth. In Princess Principal Part 3, the film begins with Prince Richard waiting for Princess Charlotte’s decision to join him. She found out he had been involved in the assassination of Prince Edward and informed Control.
Control orders Charlotte and Beatrice to stay at the palace, and Agne and Dorothy to act as maids while investigating the power struggles. As Princess Mary is next in line for the throne, she is given excessive lessons to prepare for her future. Not being able to handle the pressure, she tries escaping through the window and is saved by Dorothy before she injures herself.
Meanwhile, Prince Richard wanted the Duke of Normandy to resign as the Home Secretary, but it became difficult for him to convince the latter since the Duke was aware of his true nature. After hearing of Princess Mary enjoying a little break from her studies, Prince Richard decides to end her but is unsuccessful.
The assassination attempt prompted Control to approve Princess Mary leaving her home. But before they could cross over to the Commonwealth, Mary and Olivia were caught by the Kingdom. Everyone gets arrested and the Duke informs Charlotte of Richard’s arrest and wants to make her a double agent for the Kingdom.
