The show is about finding happiness through dark times, it’s plot is very warm and easy that you can watch the show after a stressful day with your family.
It revolves around the character Chelsea who is a stiff and polished Harvard graduate novelist. Recently, she was dumped by her boyfriend. She decided to move in with her sister who is the opposite of what Chelsea is, bubbly, not witty, and careless.
Chelsea’s sister’s name is Claire, she lives with her three friends who are equally strange as Claire. Their name is – Grant, who is a handsome personal trainer. Solana who was a lawyer but now is a healer and Jayden who is a social media influencer. This is a journey of Chelsea finding her people and breaking down her walls to let them in.
All About Pretty Smart Season 1
Pretty Smart Season 1 is a mixture of comedy and romance. Chelsea started to live with Claire and her three friends.
Claire always wanted to be close to her sister as they drifted apart after their parents divorced. Claire sees this as a chance to improve her relationship with Chelsea. But Chelsea was very in her sense a little above Claire and her friends and Claire is the opposite of what she is. This broke out a fight between the sister.
Where Claire defended herself that she is not stupid and has everything she wants in life and is at least happy, which Chelsea is not.
Chelsea apologizes and gave her a reason for distancing herself from Claire. They reconciled and their relationship started to grow.
But then there was Grant, Grant was an ex-boyfriend of Claire who likes her still but Claire sees him just as a friend.
Chelsea started to like Grant and found a job in his gym, he was also her trainer and a friend. But she was devasted after learning that Grant still likes Claire.
Later Grant moved on from Claire when he came to know that she is happily in a relationship with her boyfriend Dwayne.
Grant and Chelsea started to explore the likeness they have for each other. But Claire realized that still likes Grant and broke up with her boyfriend.
The show also explored Chelsea’s bond with the other two friends of Claire where they helped each other when anyone was having a problem.
Like faking their identity to support Chelsea in front of her rival Margot Wainwright.
The show ended with a cliffhanger – Chelsea saw Grant and Claire kissing in the kitchen.
What Can We Expect In Pretty Smart Season 2?
If in the future we will get Pretty Smart Season 2 the plot will explore further the love triangle happening between Chelsea, Grant, and Claire.
And the problems the sisters will face for having a common love interest.
