NIT Durgapur Recruitment 2023 Selection Process 

The selection process for various posts under Non-Teaching vacancies is conducted in three phases.

First Phase

Written examination – Computer-based MCQ-type questions.

Qualifying in nature.

Maximum marks – 75 marks.

Total time- 90 minutes.

1 mark for the correct answer and -0.25 for each wrong answer.

The candidates who qualified in the first phase will be able to reach the second phase.

Second phase

Written examination- Computer-based MCQ-type questions.

70% weightage in the final merit list.

Maximum marks – 100 marks.

Total time- 120 minutes or 2 hours.

1 mark for the correct answer and -0.25 for each wrong answer.

Candidates who qualified in the second phase will reach the third phase.

Third Phase

Skill test – depends on the post filled by the candidate.

30% weightage in the final merit list.

Final Merit List

The merit list will be announced after all the candidates go through the three phases. The final candidates passing the third phase will be considered. The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the second and third phases by the candidate.

Final merit = 70% of marks obtained in phase 2 + 30% of marks obtained in phase 3
