Tatsuya Ishihara is the director of the show. Neither the director nor the author has announced anything about the renewal. Season 1 received good ratings and reviews. The plot of Nichijou revolves around a small town, Tokisadame. The story first introduces us to Yuko Aioi, a very energetic girl who does her best in all the work. Then, we meet a cheerful person, Mio Naganohara. She is very adamant, and nothing can stop her from achieving her dreams.  

The show also introduces us to a silent girl, Mai Minakami, who recently moved to Japan from Alaska. Finally, the show introduces us to an important character, Nano Shinonome. Nano is a robot who wishes to attend school just like other kids. She is one year old but behaves like a teenager, which makes it easy for her to attend school. 

She is always scared because of her identity. The efforts of hiding her identity from others create some hilarious sequences. If there is a new season, the plot will revolve around the same main characters, creating hilarious moments for fans to enjoy.
