Tradesman Skilled (Ammunition Mechanic)
- Passed 10th grade or its equivalent from a recognised Board.
- Possess a certificate course of two years from a recognised ITI in any of the following fields: Electrician/ Electroplater/ Fitter OR Instrument Mechanic/ Electronic Mechanic/ Machinist/ Mechanic, Communication Equipment Maintenance.

- Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution or board, with proficiency in English.
- Apprenticeship training in the applicable trade for the job.
- Mechanic or an equivalent with two years of persistent service in the relevant Technical Branch of the Army, Air Force, or Navy.
