My Favourite Idol is a story about a Korean high school girl, Hong Jooa who used to be chubby and proposes to a guy she liked but gets rejected when he makes a rude comment about her body.
Hong Jooa now wants to become thin so everyone will like her and uses unhealthy means that make her malnourished. She was losing her hope and the will to live but at that moment a light came in the form of Go Yohan.
Go Yohan is a member of a K-pop group, Black Boyz made a comeback with a ballad which was written by the leader, Yohan. From that moment onwards she decided to love him even if she couldn’t have him in real life.
Hong Jooa is bullied for her obsession with Go Yohan and her drawing of fanart. Hong Jooa was thrown from the building of her school, and one thing kept coming to her mind that she wanted to live and wanted to feel loved while imagining the face of Go Yohan.
Hong Jooa when opened her eyes she realized two things – she was in a hospital and her body felt lighter and when she saw in the mirror she realized that she was in the body of the person she loved, Go Yohan.
