Physical Fitness Test

  1. In addition to the written examination, candidates who qualify for the written examination will have a physical fitness test (PFT) administered within two days of qualifying.
  2. The parameters for the PFT include a 6 km run to be completed in 7 minutes and 20 squat-ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 push-ups. 
  3. It is not possible for physically challenged candidates to apply for this exam.

Medical Examination

After passing the medical examination, candidates will be further interviewed and evaluated before being given a final decision on their selection On entry, authorized Military Doctors will conduct a medical examination in accordance with the medical standards prescribed in current regulations applicable to enrolled personnel. 

  1. The minimum height should be 157 cm
  2. The chest has to be well-sculpted and it has to increase up to 5 cm when the candidate expands it. 
  3. The Candidates who have hearing and visual problems are not eligible for this job.
