Hiroyuki, the manga writer, confirmed the announcement on his Twitter account by creating a countdown with the image of the four main girl characters. There is no official Girlfriend Girlfriend season 2 release date, but we will get the series in October 2023.
SynergySP will produce the second season of Girlfriend Girlfriend with Takatoshi Suzuki as the director. Kazuhiko Inukai along with Ochi, serves as the scriptwriter. Shouko Hagiwara will serve as the character designer.
In the first season of Girlfriend Girlfriend, the creators covered four volumes of the manga series. The new season will cover the remaining volumes, making the plot more interesting for us to watch.
