American sitcom Fuller House is a sequel to the 1987-1995 Full House created by Jeff Franklin. We have seen American sitcoms like Friends and How I met your mother which are very popular internationally.
Full House was about Danny Tanner and his three daughters and the sequel Fuller House is about Danny’s daughter, a continuation of the former show.
In 2014, rumors about the sequel of Full House started circulating. Warners Bros Television Channel wanted the series to be back in the game.
It was revealed through John Stamos [who has the ownership of the show and also plays the character of Jesse Katsopolis] that it was very difficult to release the sequel, Fuller House as they were not able to find a streaming platform which is willing to stream the show.
He thanks Netflix for giving the show another chance and Netflix has given fans five seasons of the show. But it looks like fans are not satisfied and they want the 6th season of the Fuller House.
Fuller House Season 6 Release Date
Fuller House has been declared canceled by Netflix, this was a surprise announcement not only for fans but also for the cast of the show. They know that the show was coming to an end but they expected at least one more season.
Netflix initially wanted to approve the renewal of the sixth season but as many new series were been released the competition is also growing and Fuller House was not bringing as much attention as Netflix wanted it to bring.
So even if Fuller House Season 6 is going to happen as fans demanded, they have to find a new streaming platform.
From finding a new streaming platform they also have to solve the issue of two members of Fuller House who are not willing to return to the show.
John Stamos does not want to do Fuller House without Bob Saget who has tragically passed away in 2022. Jodie Sweetin also can’t decide if she wanted to play the role of Stephanie again in Fuller House.
So it is unlikely we are getting Fuller House Season 6 any time soon.

Fuller House Storyline
The Fuller House plot is almost a continuation of the Full House. In Full House Danny Tanner moved to San Francisco with his brother-in-law Jesse Katsopolis and his best friend Joey Gladstone.
He moved there after his wife’s death and now he has three daughters – D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle. Jess and Joey helped Danny to take care of his three daughters and they eventually grow closer.
The Fuller House is about Danny’s daughters, D.J. moved to Tanner’s San Francisco house with Danny after her firefighter husband died.
Danny has to move away because of his work. D.J. is the mother of three sons – Jackson, Max, and Tommy. She accepted the help of her sister Stephanie and her best friend Kimmy. They both move into Tanner’s house along with Kimmy’s teenage daughter Ramona.
The ending of Season 5 was great with the wedding of the D.J., Stephanie, and Kimmy yet there were still many stories that remain incomplete which could have been completed in Season 6.
The Cast Of Fuller House
The cast of Fuller House is the same as Full House because most cast of the original series was involved in the casting of a sequel.
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen alternated in playing the role, of Danny Tanner’s youngest daughter Michelle Tanner in Full House but were not willing to visit the character role again.
We have Candance Cameron Bure as D.J. Tanner-Fuller who is the eldest daughter of Danny Tanner and the widow mother of three sons.
Then we have Stephanie Tanner role played by Jodie Sweetin, the middle child of Danny and the sister of D.J.
D.J.’s best friend Kimmy Gibbler is played by Andrea Barber.
John Stamos as Jess Katsopolis, the uncle of D.J. and Stephanie.
Danny Tanner is played by Bob Saget, the father of D.J. and Stephanie.
Dave Coulier is Joey Gladstone, the best friend of Danny and a stand-up comedian.
