The first season of Close to Home: Murder in the Coalfield has a lot of good twists and is a good story to go on with. The story revolves around the life of Ramona Schinschke and her murder. Maik is now in the process of investigation when he calls Annalena.
After thorough research, she found out that the case will get easier only if they get to know the people. Maik and Annalena have gone through the investigation and found out that they have five suspects right now. Andre who is the police officer, Juri who is Ramona’s boyfriend, a local resident and two others who are real estate agents and a friend too.
Ramona was not killed by Andre, he was such a good father figure to her. But we do not know who did that to her. It could be the serial killer who has been finding victims. The final answer comes to be one of the most shocking and most unexpected. The killer comes out to be Martin, the local resident.
Martin tries to find and kill another victim, who is Maik’s own daughter! But when he fails, he kills himself. That’s right. He falls off a cliff and takes his own life.
