The duration of this exam is set to 150 minutes only, the total number of questions in this paper is 150, and 300 marks. All the questions are MCQs and in both the languages English and Hindi.
- Paper 2: Essay, Precis Writing, and Comprehension
The paper is 100 marks in total, for Precis Writing and Comprehension there is only one language which is English. For the essay, part candidates can choose between English and Hindi. You will get 2 hours for this paper.

CISF Recruitment 2023 Physical and Medical Efficiency Test
After the written exam candidates can give physical efficiency test and only after qualifying for the physical test the candidate will be able to give a Medical test. Then obviously he/she can sit in the personal interview.
