The studio that produced the anime has been pretty busy with their other adaptations. BNA Season 2 Story
Anima is a fictional city in Japan. Beastman and humans are the two races that live there, and they never get along. Beastman are basically humans plus animals which are humanoid animals, they can turn themselves into a beast with a DNA alteration called beat factor. These Beastmen have always been considered as the low people of the society and in order to overcome this, mayor Barballet Rosé created this society for Beastmen.
As soon as Beastmen gets to know about it, they all come to live there, birds, amphibian, animals everyone and a city gets created. The anime basically explores the story of Michiru Kagemori, who is a Beastman ( a human turned into a racoon). She comes to live in Anima city when the humans invaded her areaa. In Anima, she meets Shirou Ogami (a beastman, human turned into a wolf) who basically looks over the safety of the city. Beastman witness bombing in the city and now Michiru and Shirou are on their mission to find the culprit behind it.
The show explores how both of them find criminals and deal with them to make their city and people safe from humans. At the ending episode we saw some of them turning back to human and humans invading their city. For season 2, the show might pick up where season 1 left us. There was little to no history told in season 1 about Beastman, so season 2 might explore what their background and history was.
In addition to this, there were many criminals in season one who did not die, so they may come back and our racoon might fight them again. No official storyline of season 2 has been revealed yet.
