The story revolves around the eldest daughter of The Verdier family. The name of the eldest daughter is Chole Verdier. Verdier Family has a small estate in the south of the Swanton Kingdom.
The Viscount of the family is in great despair as the family is suffering from a financial crisis. The Viscount has two daughters, the eldest who has a defective leg, and the youngest who is known for her beauty
To resolve the issue of the family Alice decided to marry a wealthy and handsome duke but she was not able to do anything as she got herself into a problem.
Now this responsibility is handed to Chole the eldest daughter of the family. She will have to marry Duke Damien Ernst von Tisse who is rich and very clever.
He is the nephew of the king of the Swanton Kingdom and has an eye on the throne. Chole and Duke have bad blood between them due to the situation which happened three years before in the war.
