Eligibility Criteria of the SLET Exam
The State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) is an examination that anyone can take, regardless of age Candidates who qualify for the test are eligible to apply for the post of assistant professor within the jurisdiction of the member states of this SLET Commission. Despite the lack of an age limit, the requirements for admission to the SLET Exam are fairly strict. Candidates of any age are eligible to appear in the SLET Exam, and, upon successful qualification, they may apply for the post of Assistant Professor within the jurisdiction of any Member State.
While there is no upper age limit for appearing in the SLET Exam, it is important to note that candidates must meet other eligibility criteria as well. For instance, candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks, and they should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET).
